Our Founders's Vision

TufinPlug Empowerment Foundation came to life in March 2020, born out of Tufin Mama’s dream to create a community that blended entertainment with enlightenment. Little did she know that this endeavor would become a catalyst for positive change. Tufin Mama’s journey into philanthropy was deeply rooted in her upbringing, guided by her parent’s belief that giving is a way to express gratitude for life’s blessings. Her acts of kindness quietly blossomed into a chain of remarkable events, inspiring the birth of the TufinPlug Empowerment Foundation.

A Journey of Blessings

In 2021, Tufin Mama used the proceeds from the first Rave Party to purchase food for those in need and made donations to the Red Cross. Unexpectedly, acts of kindness unlocked a shower of blessings. Her life became a testament to the principle that kindness begets kindness, as her mother recovered from illness, she got engaged, married, bought her first car, and welcomed her first child, Obalani. Overflowing with joy, she shared her story, inspiring others to give and receive blessings in return.

The Birth of TufinPlug Foundation

In just 48 hours, the TufinPlug community raised 3 million naira for their foundation. Donors shared their own stories of unexpected blessings, sparking a collective desire to make a difference. The foundation’s inaugural project, “5000 Lunch Box,” aimed to provide food for 5000 school children. The response was remarkable. TufinPlug Empowerment Foundation achieved its goal and expanded its support to students, single mothers, and people with health issues.

Tufin Mama firmly believes that kindness is love and has embodied this belief, now supported by over 60 volunteers who contribute during the outreach. Together, they are building a community of passionate and kind individuals who understand that kindness is a way to express love.

The Journey of Blessings and Birth of Tufinplug Empowerment Foundation

In March 2020, TufinPlug Empowerment Foundation came to life, fueled by Tufin Mama’s dream to merge entertainment with enlightenment. Little did she know that this endeavor would spark a remarkable transformation. Rooted in her parents’ belief that giving is a way to express gratitude, Tufin Mama’s acts of kindness quietly bloomed into a chain of extraordinary events, birthing the TufinPlug Empowerment Foundation.

Since 2013, Tufin Mama shared her earnings with orphanages and those in need. In 2021, the proceeds from the year-end TufinPlug Rave Party were used to buy food for the needy, support widows, and aid motherless babies’ homes. Unexpectedly, these acts of kindness triggered a cascade of blessings throughout 2022. Her life became a testament to the principle that kindness begets kindness. She acquired her first car, got engaged, earned her second degree in Human Resources Management, married the love of her life, and welcomed her first child, Obalani.

Overflowing with joy, she inspired others to give and receive blessings in return. In November 2022, after sharing her story, the TufinPlug community rallied. Within 48 hours, they raised 3 million naira for the foundation. Donors, inspired by their own unexpected blessings, united in a collective desire to make a difference.

The response was remarkable. TufinPlug Empowerment Foundation achieved its goal and expanded its aid to students, single mothers, and people with health issues.

OUR TEAM

Our Director

Omowumi Ruth Esan (Adeborowa), born on March 24, 1994, in Ondo City, Ondo State, is a remarkable individual whose journey is marked by resilience, intelligence, and a tireless pursuit of positive impact. She has an HND in statistics from Yaba College Of Technology. Her academic journey led her to Bells University of Technology, where she obtained a second degree in Human Resource Management, setting the stage for a career marked by versatility and excellence.

Omowumi’s professional trajectory began as a research analyst at DATASHEZ Nig. Ltd, showcasing her precision in navigating data intricacies. Her career evolved through diverse sectors, from banking to research roles, demonstrating her adaptability and insatiable thirst for knowledge.

Venturing into customer service and serving as a personal assistant and research analyst to a gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State showcased Omowumi’s ability to thrive in varied professional environments. Her expertise in data analysis found expression at the Neuro Psychiatric Hospital in Lagos and later at Global Analytics Consulting in Abuja, where she continued to make significant contributions to the field.

 

In 2020, Omowumi founded Tufinplug TV a WhatsApp Community of people with different demography, geography and ideology, propelled by a vision to create broad-scale positive change through Educative post, Relationship advice and community based Event.  Tufinplug by the year 2023, have garnered over 30,000 subscribers, a testament to its rapid impact. This in turn fuel the need to help more people and the Tufinplug foundation was created. The foundation reflects Omowumi’s unwavering commitment to community empowerment, addressing diverse issues from education to skill development.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Omowumi is a loving wife and mother, seamlessly balancing her roles and responsibilities. Her intelligence, work ethic, and dedication to making a difference have left an indelible mark on every sector she has touched. She is not merely a data analyst; she is a visionary leader, a catalyst for positive change, and a symbol of hope in both professional and community spheres.

Omowumi’s extraordinary kindness is a defining aspect of her character. From her school days to the present, she has consistently been a force of generosity, impacting the lives of widows, orphans, and the less privileged. Her philanthropy extends beyond financial contributions; it is a personal mission to infuse love and kindness into every act of giving.
